DESCRIPTION

The jara blanca is an evergreen bush that peppers the grasslands with small flowers. The green in its leaves incorporates grey and white tones, to produce a velvety effect. Despite what its Spanish name suggests (blanca means white), it's one of the few species of cistus that have pink flowers, rather than white ones. Decorate your sofa with this soft, cuddly cushion. Or better still, don’t stop at just one. Knit a few to scatter over the head of your bed, just as the jara blanca scatters its flowers across the grasslands.
